Origami Construction Steps

The general steps in origami construction are as follows:

1. Cut Port and Starboard hull halves from patterns, weld on longitudinals.

2. Pull hull patterns to shape along the darts and centerline.

3. Pull the hull to beam along the sheer, installing transom, bulkheads and side decks.

4. Install skeg, keel, stern tube, engine beds and tanks.

5. Install the cockpit, cabin sides, and cabin top similar to the side decks.

6. Install rudder, chain plates, anchor rollers, bits, ports, hatches, cleats, rails.

7. Finishing.
